A more personal approach to psychiatric care.

Psychiatric care is most effective when patients feel heard, respected, and understood. Dr. Penn's approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and treatment planning that reflects each patient’s needs, symptoms, goals, and lifestyle.

The goal is to provide care that feels clinically grounded, discreet, and accessible, without sacrificing professionalism or privacy.

Dr. Penn provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for adults experiencing treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, ADHD, insomnia, and other psychiatric conditions. His approach combines evidence-based psychopharmacology with psychotherapy tailored to each patient's clinical needs and personal goals.

In addition to medication management, Dr. Penn incorporates psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), supportive psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, brief psychoanalytic therapy, and existential psychotherapy when clinically appropriate. He is also pursuing advanced training in ketamine therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for patients with treatment-resistant depression.
